GOOD NEWS! Ebola Patients In Liberia Reduces To 5 From 300 Cases Weekly

One of the best news this week is that Liberia is almost free from Ebola as they have only 5 cases left from the virus which ravaged the country killing thousands since last year.

According to the United Nations yesterday, this is a huge sign that the country is nearing the end of the outbreak. Liberia was one of the worst hit with the Ebola virus alongside its neighbors, Guinea and Sierra Leone with about 9000 deaths.

In a statement by the World Health Organization,WHO, the number of confirmed Ebola cases in Liberia now stands at 5 and has even dropped as low as 1 last week from the usual 300 cases a week.

Lisa White, a spokeswoman for the UN Mission for Ebola Emergency Response, said the WHO is supporting the government of Liberia in getting down to zero cases.
