According to reports from the BBC , Liberian, Thomas Duncan who is the first person to be diagnosed with Ebola within the US is now dead.
He
become ill a few days after arriving in the US to visit his girlfriend and was placed in isolation 4 days later when he started to manifest the Ebola symptoms.
Unfortunately, his condition continued to worsen and this week he was given an
experimental drug but he didn't respond to treatment. Thomas Duncan, who worked as a driver for a courier company, tested positive in Dallas, Texas, on the 30th of September, 10 days after arriving on a flight from Monrovia via Brussels.
Ten people with whom he came into contact with are still being monitored for symptoms.
