Another Blow To APC? NCC Shuts Down SMS Fundraising Campaign

You can not deny that the power tussle is really on between the two major powers that be in the political terrain of Nigeria; the APC and the PDP.

The latest tussle is the Federal Government allegedly shutting down the Short Messaging Service, SMS, platform which the Buhari-Osinbajo Presidential Campaign Fundraising Committee launched 2 days ago to raise funds for its campaign.

According to Governor Babatunde Fashola who is the Director of the Committee, the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC,  have shut down the SMS platform.

He says it is a very distasteful and disgraceful conduct on the part of the Federal Government and the PDP as NCC gave approval to the Goodluck-Sambo campaign in 2010 with this kind of platform.

This comes just after the Federal Government had earlier shut down APC’s main domain, forcing the party to switch to another domain.

All I can just say is that when 2 elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers.

  2. What else do we need to understand that the pdp has got nothing for us as far as this election is concerned? First, it was Buhari's health and some fake doctor's report was even flying around. That died a natural death eventually. Then it was his qualification that was the issue when they knew very well that this guys was well qualified for the position. After that, they said the qualifications eventually tendered were fake. There was also the allegations of hacking even though data centres do not have internet access. APC's domain has been withdrawn when nothing illegal was being done. Now NCC is rubbishing itself after the Nigerian Army already did same a few days ago.
In all of this, I have not heard anything about corruption, roads, hospitals, security e.t.c. The only thing I hear about from pdp is their obsession - Buhari this or Buhari that. Guys, change is the way forward #voteyourchurchmind.
