Football Great, Thierry Henry Retires From The Game After 20 Years

After a 20 year career, former Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry has just announced his retirement from football.

The all time Arsenal leading goalscorer initially left New York Red Bulls this month amidst speculation that he was going to another club.

During his successful career, he played for Monaco, Juventus, and Barcelona, scored 175 Premier League goals and is 4th on the list of all-time scorers.

Thierry Henry also won 2 Premier League titles and 3 FA Cups with the Gunners, where he played between 1999 and 2007He added the Champions League trophy with Barcelona in 2009 and returned to Arsenal for 4 matches on loan from the Red Bulls in 2012.

According to the BBC, Thierry Henry will be joining Sky Sports as an expert on football matters.

I guess he took this step and decided to quit while the ovation was still loud. Good luck to him.
