It seems like politics in Nigeria is turning out to be a family affair as the Governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang has announced the appointment of his son Yakubu, as the state’s Commissioner for Lands and Urban Planning.
The Commissioner for Information, Mohammed Abubakar, made this known yesterday and until this announcement, Yakubu was actually his father's Special Adviser on Special Duties.
He is taking over from the immediate past commissioner, Yilji Gomwalk who has resigned to pursue his political appointment as a running mate to the PDP governorship candidate bearer in the state, Gyang Pwajok.
