The Godswill Akpabio Unity Choir organised by the Akwa Ibom State Government Protocol office and held at Uyo has set a new Guinness World Record for the World's Largest Group of Carol Singers.
The carol took place on the 13th of October with a record-breaking choir of 25,382 members who sang at the Township Stadium in Uyo.
They sang hymns like The First Noel, Joy To The World, O Christmas Tree, Hark The Herald Sing, Once In Royal Davids City and O Come All Ye Faithful.
Meanwhile, the Guinness Records management team confirmed the record this week on Christmas’ Eve.
