Jilted Husband Slashes Clothes Of Wife Of 38 Years Who Left Him For Another Man

A man whose wife left him after 38 years of marriage has retaliated by slashing all her clothes and  placing them back into her wardrobes and cupboards.

59 year old Phillip Gamble in the UK went as far as cutting out  the crotches of her bikinis and removing the zips from all her boots. He also poured bleach on the curtains, damaged the mattress and turned off the fridge freezer.

The father of 3 decided to take take his revenge after his wife of 38 years left him for another man and moved out of the home they shared.

However, the Gloucester Crown Court where the case was taken to gave him a suspended sentence as the judge said he was a fool and not a villain for carrying out such act.

Judge Jamie Tabor QC sentenced him to 3 months in prison, suspended for a year saying Phillip Gamble acted very silly because his long marriage came to an end.

But honestly a 38 year old marriage just ending in this manner? Very sad indeed.
