The much talked about and anticipated biopic about the late singer Aaliyah was finally released this weekend and it wasn't well received by viewers and fans alike.
Even Aaliyah's family had been against the movie being made and provided no support to it, infact none of Aaliyah's original songs were used in the film either. The original star Zendaya Coleman who was initially cast has Aaliyah also backed out of the movie earlier this year, saying it all seemed "a little rushed."
Aaliyah had a very successful recording career, singing many hits before her tragic death at age 22 in a 2001 plane crash.
One of her producers, Timbaland also voiced his dissatisfaction with the movie as well and posted up pictures of the cast which looked nothing like the characters they were supposed to portray. According to him, Lifetime Tv disrespected the memory of Aaliyah.

Meanwhile, despite all the drama and rumors trailing his marriage to the delectable Tiwa Savage, Teebilz also found time to throw shade at the producers of the movie suggesting that he should have been picked to play the part of R Kelly….Lol but you must give it to him though, he kinda looks like Rkelly or what do you think?
