Oh my, this Monday is not exactly starting out on a positive note one bit! Just as we are still reeling with the new of the death of Pastor Myles Munroe and his wife, there are reports that a bomb has just gone off at Government Science & Technical Secondary School, Potiskum Yobe State during their morning assembly.
According to a teacher and medic at the scene, the explosion affected many students who are currently being evacuated to a nearby hospital but he says many of them might already be dead. Another witness, a local resident, Adamu Alkassim, said there was confusion everywhere in the school and the scene was a mass of abandoned footwear and blood.
The police have also confirmed this unfortunate event and reported that 47 children are dead so far.

So far, none of the terrorist groups has made any claim of responsibility but it points to the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
