With the crisis going on in the Nigerian Football Federation NFF, the world football regulatory body, FIFA has given them a deadline of 31st of October, to sort it out or risk being suspended until May next year.
This was contained in a letter sent to the NFF yesterday as regards the sacking of the Amaju Pinnick board which includes him not being allowed to travel to Namibia to watch the African Women Championship.
FIFA made it clear that if suspended, no team from Nigeria including club teams can have any international contact as well as the risk of being barred from FIFA or CAF developmental programmes, training and courses.
If this kind of thing can happen to NFF elections how about the general country's upcoming general election? Really worth pondering over indeed.
