It is a good thing as to put your money where your mouth is as an advocate of any cause and that is what teenager and Pakistani education campaigner, Malala Yousafzai just did.
She has donated 50,000 Dollars towards the reconstruction of schools in Palestine. Due to the effects of the war in the area, lots of public buildings and schools in Gaza were destroyed by Israeli warplanes and tanks during the recent conflict with Israel.
Malala made the donation after receiving the World Children’s Prize for the Right of The Child in Marienfred, Sweden. While speaking at the ceremony, she said the money will be channeled through the United Nations relief agency to help rebuild 65 schools in the Palestinian territory.
