Following the successful celebration of the 54th Founders Day of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka last week, the Vice Chancellor has promised the students that in the next few months they would start to enjoy doing their laundry with the comfort of washing machines in the school.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Benjamin Chukwuma Ozumba, made this announcement at a press briefing at the Enugu Campus of the institution saying it was part of his welfare package for the students.
He made a reference to universities in other parts of the world saying UNN students also deserved to learn in a conducive environment. He said this would be part of the massive renovation of the hostels in the school. This follows the restoration of pipe-borne water which had been absent in the school for the past 15 years.
