Comic books are actually loved by both young and old alike and these days whereby comic stories are being made into real life movies,more people seem to be falling in love with the characters like Spiderman,Avengers,Hulk,Captain America etc.
Just a few days ago the first comic book featuring Superman was sold on Ebay for more than 3.2 Million Dollars!!(*faints*)
Darren Adams, the owner of Pristine Comics in Washington State, received
48 bids on the comic, which was originally published in 1938. He sold it
to an unnamed buyer. The first comic book features not only
the first appearance of Superman, Clark Kent and Lois Lane, but it also
began the entire superhero genre that has followed during the 76 years since.
There is also a makeover of sorts in the superhero world as Marvel comics have announced a sex change of Thor the God of Thunder!!!(*weeps*I will surely miss seeing Chris Hemsworth as Thor)
The new female Thor will make her debut in October in a storyline that will show the male Thor not being able to pick up the hammer, a lady will now be the one to pick up the hammer and according to the inscription she will assume the superhero powers in the hammer!!
I honestly look forward to seeing that!!!!
