A new National Identity Card has been launched by President Goodluck Jonathan this week but this time its an electronic one(technology tinz)!
The biometric card will also be used to make electronic payments and hopefully by 2019 all Nigerians are expected to be able to use the card to vote.
This comes about ten years after the first attempt to introduce national ID cards at that time.
