Nigerian Gospel artistes are getting serious recognition both home and abroad which is a great thing for the industry as it shows that the gospel artistes have upped their ante and are moving to another level.
Some of them did us proud at the just concluded Africa Gospel Music Awards which held in London a few days ago. Nikki Laoye, Sabina, Sinach, Eben and Sammie Okposo were some of the Nigerian Gospel artistes that walked away with awards.
The Africa Gospel Music Awards serves as a platform for promoting and celebrating African Gospel music as well as recognising talented and hardworking gospel artistes based in Africa and the diaspora.

Nikki Laoye walked away with the Female Artiste of the Year Awards,
Sabina for Radio Program of the Year, Sammie Okposo won the Music Video
of the Year award for 'Who Tell You Say', Sinach won the Song of the Year award with the song 'I Know Who I Am' while Eben took
home the Album of the Year for “Justified”.
