As the issue of the Ebola virus continues to be
one of growing concern, the Lagos state government and a few Federal delegates
visited Pastor T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations.
The visit which was led by the Lagos State Commissioner
for Health, Dr Jide Idris was to educate him and members of his church of the
deadly nature of the virus.
Why you may be wondering, it because Synagogue
church is a place where many people with various health conditions go to for
healing and the pastor is known for accepting them irrespective of what kind of
disease ails them.
Besides a large number of the church members are from
countries already affected by the disease which include Sierra Leone and
Liberia to mention a few.
Pastor Joshua has agreed to work with the
government on this and says rather than invite the affected individuals he
will visit their countries instead (although me I am not in full support of
this step either)
