Thou Shalt Not Cheat...

Cheating in relationships seems to have grown in huge proportions in recent times and it seems like its not a big deal to cheat or be cheated on. You hear all sorts of reasons for cheating and they include, he/she was too busy, he/she was not caring enough, he/she was not romantic enough and the most popular one ‘the devil made me do it’(Lol…forgive me)

However, I stumbled on another one recently on the internet where a research was carried out and 82% of married male who cheat said having  children is a main reason they commit adultery…hmnnnnn. Initially I was like….’NO!’ but then I sat back to analyse it and realized it could be true.

The common reason the men gave is that they began being unfaithful after having children because their wives stopped being passionate after the baby came. I can imagine some of you rolling your eyes but it is true. Many wives after childbirth stop fanning the flames of desire in their marriages.

This could be true because having children can be stressful especially when they are still babies. There is the issue of not sleeping well at night, financial pressure and a shift of attention by the mother from her husband to the child.
So a word of caution to those that are mothers, remember your spouse was there before the baby and when the baby grows into an adult and he/she would leave the house and it will be you and your spouse again. If you don’t show your partner the attention he needs guess what a thousand and one ladies out there are ready to help you(God forbid)

And to those that are not yet married and cheating on your significant others please stop it or else……….(fill in the blanks Lol!)
