President Buhari Calls On Britain & Switzerland To Help Return Stolen Funds

This is the recent call being made by President Buhari to Britain, Switzerland and other countries to hasten the process of investigation, prosecution and repatriation of funds stolen by corrupt Nigerian public officials and their accomplices.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the president applauded the renewed support from these countries on their steps to assist in returning public funds stolen from Nigeria.

Recently, the new British, Swiss, Palestine, Slovakia and Myanmar Ambassadors have visited President Buhari to present their letters of credence and he said their countries have been beneficial in help with relevant information and intelligence on public funds that were stolen and illegally transferred to personal bank accounts by officials of past administrations.
