Not Again! Toyota Recalls 6.5 Million Cars Due To Fire Risk!

A global recall of 6.5 Million cars has been announced by Japanese car giant, Toyota. This is to fix power window switches which they say can short circuit and catch fire.

According to reports from CNN, side switches on the driver's side of some models have been found to malfunction as they did not receive enough grease during the manufacturing process which could cause the switch to overheat and melt.

There are reports that the car company has received 11 cases of burnt door trim, and one report from the U.S. of a customer who suffered a burn on their hand.

The affected cars were produced between 2005 and 2010, and include Toyota's Yaris, Corolla, Matrix, Camry, RAV4, Highlander, Tundra, and Sequoia models. However, Toyota says it is not aware of any crashes caused by this problem.
