Kano State Launches Biometric Attendance Machine To Monitor Workers Punctuality

Its no more business as usual for workers in Kano State as the Government launches a biometric time and attendance machine for monitoring workers punctuality in their various places of work.

This was made known according to a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer in the office of the state Head of Service, Mustapha Fagge. The statement was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Kano yesterday.

While performing the official test-run of the machine in his office, the Head of Service, Muhammad Naiya says the state government has serious concern over the workers’ nonchalant attitude to work and the machine was introduced to also check lateness and absenteeism among civil servants in the state.

The installation of this machine will be the first of its kind in the history of the state.
