Good Bye Poverty As US Supports Nigeria With 2.3 Billion Dollars!

This is according to reports that the federal government has accepted a $2.3 Billion US Government Assistance over the next 5 years.

In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, this will support the administration of President Buhari's programme to combat extreme poverty among the Nigerian population.

While signing the Billion Dollar Assistance Agreement, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo expressed his joy at this welcome development from the United States and stated that the Buhari administration would continue to lead a transparent and open government.

The $2.3 Billion Assistance is expected to cover activities from 2015 through 2020 with the objective of helping Nigeria reduce extreme poverty in a more stable, democratic society.
