APC's Lai Mohammed Don Vex? Sues PDP's Olisa Metuh For 500 Million Naira!

According to reports, spokesman of the APC, Lai Mohammed, has filed a N500 Million libel suit against Olisa Metuh of the PDP.

In the brief  before the Lagos State High court, Ikeja, the ministerial nominee claims that the PDP spokesperson had defamed him in a press release alleging that he siphoned the funds meant for the fencing of an airport in one of the APC-controlled states in the South-West part of the country.

Claiming monetary damage, Lai Mohammed stated that Mr Metuh had injured his “character in a grave manner and caused him considerable reputational destruction and embarrassment.”

He is therefore, demanding an order mandating a retraction of the statement and public apology in a widely read newspaper for seven consecutive days. However, the suit which was filed yesterday, is yet to be assigned to any judge.
