Senate Majority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila Makes Case Against Trailer/Containers On Roads

Following the tragic accident 2 days ago involving a container that fell off the Ojuelegba bridge killing occupants of an oncoming vehicle, House of Representatives Majority leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, is calling for a regulation to prevent such occurrences in the future.

From the beginning of this year, there has been a major increase in deaths from these trailers and personally I have been making my own little noise about it via my social media and of course this blog but it seemed like no one was listening.

This is why I am glad someone in government is finally taking note and publicly stating that something must be done. For the records, Ojuelegba is under Femi Gbajabiamila's Surulere 1 constituency and I hope he makes a serious case for these containers
