Ghenghen...LASU Advises Its Male Staff To Go On Paternity Leave!

Yup! You read that right as the Lagos State ‎University, LASU is asking its male staff members to take advantage of the paternity leave which has been approved for workers in Lagos State’s Public Service‎.

According to reports from the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, this was contained in the university’s official bulletin which noted that their male counterparts are yet to enjoy paternity leave and reminding them to take up the opportunity as approved for employees in the state's civil service.

The approval for the implementation on Paternity Leave was taken in 2014 and the men are allowed to take it from the first day of the baby's delivery and it is for 10 days.
