Find Out The Top 5 Movies At The US Box Office!

American actor, Johnny Depp has made a come back as his movie, Black Mass makes it to second place at the box office on its opening weekend.

The movie which is about Boston gangster Whitey Bulger and his unholy alliance with the FBI, pulled in $23.4 Million across the US although it cost $53 Million to make. It gained strong reviews and has a cast of respected character actors and veterans including Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley and Kevin Bacon.


Black Mass was topped by Maze Runner: Scorch Trials, the sequel to last year's post-apocalyptic young adult hit, which raked in $30.3 Million. This science fiction action flick cost $61 Million to make, most of which seems to have been spent on special effects given the lack of big names in the cast. 



Other movies which rounded up the top 5 movies at the US Box Office are, The Visit with $11.3 Million, The Perfect Guy in 4th position with $9.9 Million and Everest with $7.6 Million.
