Well that is the warning from the Oyo Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, for anyone found transporting rams on motorcycles (okada).
Speaking further, the Sector Commander, Yusuff Salami, told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Ibadan that this directive is part of measures put in place to ensure the safety of all road users during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration and anyone found carrying rams on private motorcycle or `okada’ (commercial motorcycle) will be charged for over loading and the fine is N10,000.
He went on to say this is also not an acceptable way of transporting animals and that there should be strict adherence to this.
