Police Arrest 18 Suspects Who Rob Motorists In Traffic Around Mile2 & Ijora

It is good to know that some robbers who are part of a syndicate that specialize in robbing motorists in traffic were caught over the weekend.

12 of them who operate around the Mile 2 and Ijora area of Lagos were arrested by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, who swung into action following a  tip-off from some victims, who had been robbed by the syndicate on the bridge.

Confirming the arrests, the RRS Commander, Olatunji Disu urged people to cultivate the habit of informing the police on useful and timely information with a guarantee to informants that their identities won’t be revealed for fear of reprisal.
