Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai Introduces Interest Free Loan To Rice farmers

In steps to take Kaduna State to the next level, Governor, Nasir El-Rufai introduces interest free loan for rice farmers in the state.

According to reports from the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, he said the state had received a 2 Billion Naira soft loan to boost rice production in the state.

The governor made this known during a town hall meeting in Zaria yesterday and he advised the rice farmers to access the loan to improve their revenue base. 

He also made it known that the loans are interest free as his administration has put measures in place to pay off the interest rate for them.

However, he appealed to people to criticize his government positively rather than praise them so they can know when they are going in the wrong direction and adjust accordingly.
