Governor Nasir El-Rufai Of Kaduna To Demolish Illegal Structures In The State

Despite having a reputation for demolishing structures from his days as FCT Minister, Governor Nasir El-Rufai says his planned demolition plan in Kaduna state is only of illegal structures built on government land.

According to him, the demolition will be of illegal structures built on land owned by the state hospitals and schools, after the expiration of quit notice given to the occupants.

 He made this known during his second town hall meeting held in Zaria and advised occupants of such illegal structures to vacate the properties, warning that his administration would not support encroachment on government land.
