After 10 Years Of Inception, Plateau State University (PLASU) Has No Graduates!

The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, NUC, Julius Okojie, has expressed his displeasure at the inability of Plateau State University, Bokkos, to graduate students since its inception in 2005.

He made this known when  Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau visited him in Abuja yesterday while explaining that this is due to the accreditation problems and political issues.

According to reports from News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, he said in 2007, some final year students of the institution had to be transferred to University of Jos  so they could graduate.

The professor urged the governor to expedite action towards getting accreditation for the programmes of the institution as it is so sad that a university that is 10 years old has not graduated its first set of students.
