Season 2 of the hit hip hop drama series, Empire, promises to be a fully star studded cast as singer, Kelly Rowland has just joined to play Lucious Lyon's mother!
The former Destiny's Child star will appear in flashback scenes along with Terrence Howard's character and the writers of the show are definitely glad to have her on board.
Kelly joins an A-list cast of guest stars already announced for the sophomore season which include, Oprah Winfrey, Chris Rock and Marisa Tomei, who will play a demanding venture capitalist. They will appear alongside Lenny Kravitz , Alicia Keys and rapper Common.
