Following the brutal attack on Sunday which led to the death of over 40 people and left many injured in Jos from twin bomb blasts, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state is calling on President Buhari to restore military checkpoints in the state.
According to him, this will help check the movement of suspected insurgents. He made this appeal because the president had directed the removal of all military checkpoints nationwide.
During his visit to the injured victims at the Plateau Specialist Hospital, Governor Lalong also made it known that the state government had already released money to facilitate the treatment of the injured and prayed for the repose of the souls of the dead.
