Following the commissioning of the Nigerian Armed Forces Radio in May by former President Jonathan, the radio station located in Abuja, have finally started live transmission on 107.7. The station is to provide balanced and fair reporting of the Nigerian military and their operations.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army is also asking members of the general public to disregard any recruitment campaign into the Army asking them to pay any money.
This is due to the fact that a young man, Samuel Omoh Eromosele has been caught defrauding members of the public and even military personnel seeking advancement in their career in the military through an online advert.
According to reports, Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Sani Kukasheka Usman said Samuel is part of a syndicate who specialize in extorting money from unsuspecting members of the public under the guise of enlisting them into the army.
