Reports have been making the round since yesterday that Boko Haram has captured 5 local governments in Borno and Yobe states. However, till this moment, the military is yet to officially confirm or deny this development.
According to reports from This Day newspaper, they have made efforts to reach the the Director of Defence Information, Chris Olukolade, Director of Army Public Relations, Sani Usman and as well as the Spokesman of 7 Division, Nigerian Army, Maiduguri, Tukur Gusau, but no reply yet.
However, there are claims that the governors of Yobe and Borno actually confirmed that Boko Haram have taken over the 5 local governments.
I honestly pray and hope this insurgent attacks/takeover, comes to an end soon!
