A Kano State High Court sitting at Gezawa has ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, not to arrest the immediate past governor of the state, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
The presiding judge of the court, Justice Mohammad Yayaha, yesterday ordered all the parties in the suit to maintain the status quo.
There had been reports earlier this week that Kwankwaso had stayed in his house over the threat of arrest by the EFCC on the allegation of mismanagement of pension funds.
