Well, I have suddenly developed an ear for any news about India which can be attributed to my sudden love for the TV series, Married Again, currently showing on Zee World. Its amazing the huge number of people that seem to tune in every week day to watch this program.
Anyway, India made sporting history as Sania Mirza, its top female tennis player, won her first Wimbledon title over the weekend by claiming the women's doubles crown with her legendary partner, Switzerland's Martina Hingis.
They beat Russian duo Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina, trailing 5-2 in the third set, before winning 5-7 7-6 7-5 .
