While some other states are owing their workers salaries, Ekiti state Governor, Ayodele Fayose has approved the disbursement of the sum of 119 Million Naira as car loans to workers in the state public service.
This was made known by the state Commissioner for Finance, Toyin Ojo in Ado Ekiti who said the loans ranged from N800,000 to N1.5 million and was approved depending on the salary grade level of the officers.
He also stressed the commitment of the Fayose’s administration to the welfare of workers in the state civil service, adding that the loan will be disbursed in one single tranche to the benefiting officers.
