Its good news for Nigerians in South Africa as the Central Bank Of Nigeria, CBN, has approved a center to conduct Biometric Verification, BVN, for Nigerians there.
This was confirmed by Nigeria's Consul General in South Africa, Uche Ajulu-Okeke, who made this known yesterday. According to reports from News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, the center, located in Johannesburg, would enable Nigerians in South Africa with accounts at home be captured for the BVN.
The Consul-General also said the Consulate, with the approval of the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, has set up a new passport and visa processing center in South Africa which is also located in the same building where the BVN is being conducted.
