Barely 24 hours after President Buhari resumed work at his Aso Rock office, he has ordered the dismantling of military checkpoints nationwide.
According to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Aliyu Ismaila, this was made known to State House correspondents after a meeting the President had with Service Chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja earlier today.
The check point had initially been erected in the fight against Boko haram activities.
