Its good news for electricity consumers across the country who are currently on estimated billing as they will start to pay lower than those who have been provided with meters.
According to the chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, Sam Amadi this new regulation will soon be made public and the electricity distribution companies will either be forced to provide meters to all their customers or accept the reduced limit.
He made this known today while addressing newsmen in Abuja.
