It is indeed the season for change in Nigeria as the Maiduguri International Airport in Borno state which has been closed for the past 2 years due to the Boko Haram attacks, has finally re-opened!
The first commercial landing since that time occurred yesterday and the governor of the state, Kashim Shettima was onboard the flight.
