It seems that is what Governor of Katsina state, Aminu Masari is trying to say after declaring 13 Billion Naira missing from the account of the state’s ministry of finance.
According to reports from the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, the funds were handed over in paper by the last administration through the transition committee but the Ministry of finance has failed to account for this missing amount.
However, Governor Masari says plans are already ongoing to reveal the whereabouts of the huge sum of money as the government has set up a panel to go through the financial records which the former administration handed over to him.
Meanwhile, the chairman and executive secretary of the board have been placed on compulsory leave.
