Is it just me or is there this mood of expectancy and excitement in the air as power is set to change hands tomorrow?
We all waited for the presidential election this year with all the initial postponement and drama down to the eventual emergence of President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-president elect, Yemi Osinbajo.
Finally, it is time for them to take over the baton from outgoing president Goodluck Jonathan and right now, serious work is going on at the the Eagle Square which is the venue of the Inauguration Ceremony tomorrow May 29th.
I guess at this point, our prayers should be on the increase as it is indeed the start of something new and whether you agree or not, Goodluck Jonathan did try his best and made a mark in Nigeria and in the words of Muhammadu Buhari to him earlier today:
"You have earned yourself a place in Nigeria's history for stabilizing our democracy. If you wanted to make things difficult, you could have but you didn't and for that, you have won the respect of world leaders"
