The Northern faction of Nollywood has publicly identified with President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari as the Kannywood group has paid him a congratulatory visit at his home in Daura, Katsina state.
According to Premium Times, during the courtesy visit by the delegation led by the Arewa Film Makers Association president, Isma’ila Na’abba, Buhari made a pledge to stop piracy in their movie industry.
He also thanked Kannywood for its contribution to his presidential campaign.
