Thing are definitely looking up for the football team in Nigeria as the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has announced that world leading football brand, Nike is the new kit sponsor of all the country’s teams.
According to reports from Daily Post, this was confirmed via the official Twitter handle which read: “Kitting Giants, Nike is the new technical sponsor to the Nigeria Football Federation.
With this development, the world leading football brand, Nike replaces Adidas that refused to extend their contract with Nigeria in December 2014.
This contract is meant to be valid until 2018 and the under-20 men’s team will be the first team to don the new Nike kit at the U20 football tourney to be hosted in New Zealand from the 31st of May, 2015.
