For those people thinking President-elect, Muhamadu Buhari is kinda old at 72 years old to still be in politics, United States Senator John McCain is currently 78 years old and planning to run for re-election .
According to CNN, the Arizona senator told NBC News in an exclusive interview, his plans to pursue a sixth term on Capitol Hill. Although he will be 80 years old by election day next year, he defended his vitality and says he is just getting started.
He also made it known that his mother is 103 years old and is doing well hence his inherited longevity.
Recall that he was the Republican Party's presidential nominee against president Barack Obama in 2008.
