As Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan is set to run for a 2nd term, his counterpart in Isreal, Benjamin Netanyahu is right now running for his 4th term in office.
65 year old Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud party face challenges from the left and right in today's Israeli elections.
Netanyahu trailed behind in the final opinion polls the center-left Zionist Union ticket, which says it will focus on economic issues and trying to restart peace negotiations with the Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu on his part has vowed today not to allow the creation of a Palestinian state if he wins a fourth term.
The voting began this morning and by tomorrow we will know if its an end for Netanyahu, or a new era with Zionist Union leader Yitzhak Herzog.
