Governor Babatunde Fashola Boasts Of Achieving More Than President Goodluck Jonathan

Speaking during the commissioning of the 2.18 Kilometer Glover Road, Ikoyi, recently, Governor Babatunde Fashola boasts of fulfilling his electoral promises within his first 4 years in office unlike President Goodluck Jonathan.

According to reports from the Vanguard newspaper, Fashola says his achievements show that there is a big difference between the APC and the PDP.

He goes on to to say that the record of service of the president hasn't been too impressive since 2011, recalling that the present government had in 2011 promised to build the Second Niger Bridge but four years after, the promise remains unfulfilled.

However in comparison, Governor Fashola points out that he promised to build the Lekki-Ikoyi link Bridge in 2010 and in just 3 years finished a first class architectural masterpiece which put Lagos back on the global architectural reckoning.

Meanwhile, Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure, Obafemi Hamzat explained that the 2.18km road of 10 meters width with integrated pedestrian and bicycle lanes was government’s strategy at tackling climate change while also ensuring that residents could make lifestyle changes that could further enhance their health status.
