Diezani Alison-Madueke Gets Court Injunction Stopping Reports Connecting Her To Missing 20 Billion Dollars

Following different allegations and accusations, the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, has sued APC, Premium Times and 9 other individuals and organizations to stop them from making reports on the controversial missing $20 Billion oil money involving the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

The injunction before Justice Ademola of the Federal  High court, restrains them from publishing or making statements stating or suggesting that the minister stole, misappropriated or colluded in the stealing of the missing money.

Also joined in the application were the National Broadcasting Corporation and the Nigerian Press Council who have been directed to ensure that Alison-Madueke is not linked in any report regarding this money either on broadcast media, internet, print or radio.
