Babatunde Fashola Holds President Goodluck Jonathan Responsible For Death Of Policemen In Lekki Robbery

According to reports from Ynaija, Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos state, holds President Goodluck Jonathan, responsible for the death of 3 policemen and civilians during an armed robbery around Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge yesterday.

Robbers and policemen engaged in a firefight at the scene of the incident which was the First City Monument Bank in Lekki, Lagos. Unfortunately 4 people were killed including 3 policemen and a fish seller.

The robbers, who were no fewer than 12 in number, arrived the bank premises around 5pm in a boat, and immediately began firing gunshots into the air.

While speaking night at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos, during the All Progressives Congress event, tagged: ‘An Evening For Nigeria’, Fashola allegedly laid the blame on President Jonathan.

He said because the president was coming to Lagos on a planned visit, most of the policemen were sent to be on standby for him which led to the low number of policemen available to take on the armed robbers.

Hmnnnn......this politics sef!
